North Star Academy

Introducing the newest member of the faculty at North Star Academy...

Coach Duckett...

August 9th Brig starts his first teaching job. He is teaching PE and Health. He is also the athletic director and will be coaching Girls Basketball and Cross Country...

We are so excited and I am so proud of Brig. This has been a long time coming and such an accomplishment. The school is K-9 and hoping to expand in the future. They have about 500 students and it is located just off Bangerter in Bluffdale Utah.

When I got Koy up this morning...this is what we found...how he slept til 8:45 am with this on his face is a question that will forever be unanswered...YUCK I know!

craziness...

My sister and I took SEVEN yes count them...seven kids to the Living Planet Aquarium yesterday.... We both agreed that it should be against the law for one mom to have more than four children!!! Enough said...

Our college grad...

Last Friday Brig graduated from UVU with his Bachelors of Science.

We couldn't be prouder...!!!

Little Evan...

So this kid has been on my mind all month. I worked with Ali on the cardiac unit and she is one of those girls who is seriously so genuinely kind and is never negative or rude EVER!!!! She is one of those people I want to be more like. I always coveted how dang organized she was and I miss working with her. So glad Evan is home again. You guys are in my prayers!!!

Update...

Due to some minor technical issues with my blog, the holidays, and lack of time...this is a large update from the Ducketts...

At the end of November...Koy started walking. I know most of you have already seen him
walk in person but Brig loves this video and wanted me to post it...

Now he is all over the place and getting pretty good. Its fun to watch him play with his cousins and try to keep up.

Koy got his first birthday breakfast in bed with one candle, scrambled eggs, toast, grapes, and juice. Doesn't he look so excited???

We had a great first birthday party with lots of family at Brick Oven...

and thanks again Arianne for all the cute picutres...

Koy had a couple visits with Santa... he is still not sure what to think about him.

Our holidays were fun-filled... spending lots of time with each other and with our family and friends. We hope everyone had a great holiday season too!
